Lake Livingston is a large reservoir located in southeast Texas, specifically in Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker Counties. It was created in 1968 with the construction of the Livingston Dam on the Trinity River. With a surface area of over 83,000 acres, Lake Livingston is the second-largest lake in Texas. The lake is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, watersports, and camping. It is also a major water source for the surrounding towns and communities.
